What I Would Do With Heroes

I would open it with a pair of men in balaclavas chasing a thief and I would drag the scene out in the chase scene as one of them shows that they have powers. Then I would have them corner him in an ally where there is a clock tower in the background, hands one minute to twelve. Then I would have the thief pull out a gun and fire at one of them in the head. Then I would have one take off his balaclava to reveal it to be Gabriel Grey! Then I would have the thief run off and I would have Grey kneel down and pull off the balaclava of the other guy revealing it to be Peter Petrelli! Then I would have a fake out for a moment and then the bullet rise from his forehead and fall to the side. Then he would wake up and look around slightly confused. Then I would have Grey say.

“I didn't know that you absorbed Claire's powers last!” and I would have Peter frown deeper and I would have him say.

“I didn't.” and that would be when I would have the clock tower chime twelve.

Then I would have the 'Heroes' intro.

I would then have Noah Bennet wake with Angela fade in focus. Then I would have her say.

“Good. You're awake. You poor man, the twins did quite the number on you.” in her cold tone. I would then have her walk over to the window.

“How am I alive?” I would have him ask. Then I would her raise her eyebrow.

“Claire.”

“But she's-” I would have him say in a mumble. Then I would have her carry a smile.

“Dead?” then I would have her mouth go back to a state look. “Well, now that Erika's out of the way, it's time you knew. When the twins were born, when we knew that she was after them we knew that we would have to hide their mother, however we all knew that would be very difficult. Then providence gave us Alexandra Mercy, Claire's doppelgänger, who fate would have it, was a French blogger, so we were able to switch the two. Which was a mature thing for her to do. When Erika was gone we did give her a chance for her to come back, but she declined, poor thing she really did draw the short straw when it comes to powers. Although we do keep her informed and she keeps us informed too.”

“Who keeps her-”

“Informed? Well her brothers.”

“But she only has one.”

“Well, she does have one adopted brother but she does have two biological, be it half, brothers. One of which manifested three years before Erika caused that bomb to go off.” then I would have her shrug. “And in my opinion, it's about time they met.”

“What's his power?”

“Same as his nephew.”

Then I would have him smile and nod.

“How long have I been in a coma?”

“A couple of years.”

“Well considering that you have lived fifteen years you don't look older than a few years.” I would have Noah say. Then I would have her smile.

“Well that is quite a story.”

Then I would have a flashback to Hiro Nakamora with his swards out shouting “I have waited fifteen years for this!” Only for there to be a bullet to be fired, I would have Hiro look down at him but seeing no wound. Then I would have the man in-front fall revealing Kimiko Nakamora with a gun raised with a line of smoke coming from it. Then, as a call back I would then have one of them lift off his helmet to reveal it to be Ando.

He would then look at them with a confusion. Then Ando would say; “Hiro! Your sister has a power!” then I would have her have an embarrassed sigh. As Hiro would look excited. And I would have him ask; “Is this true?”

“Yes, Hiro, it is. I manifested shortly after you, and Ando, I have two powers, the first is the ability to know when the timeline has diverged, and the ability remember the original the event, for example, I remember Claire died but it was Jackie, I also remember that Peter Petrelli exploded but he didn't, I also remember who really spilt my drink.” I would have her start her eyes sliding to Ando.

That would be when he would ask why she never revealed this before. Then she would say; “Father, he told me of his power and told me that it would be best to keep this part of me secret, for he said that it would save the world when a time would come when formality and respect are no longer important. So, I am beginning to see that this was the time that he was talking about. Now my second power, is to reverse time-damage on physical contact. Like for instance!” then I would have her walk up to him and give him a forced hug for him to squees her but I would not show his face. I would then have her pull back and say; “Look in the mirror.” then when he does he realises that he looks exactly like he did before he went back in time. Then I would have his fists in the air and shout; “I'm young again!”

Then I would have her say; “Well you were never old! Any way now that you've got your powers back aren't you forgetting someone?” Then he would have a lost look about him and then I would have her shout; “Mohider!”

Then as he disappears I would transition to the present. I would have Noah smile and nod and comment; “So...Hiro's sister...Who would've known...”

“No-one, the girl kept her secret quite well!” they would then be interrupted by Peter Petrelli with a confused look on his face. Then I would have him look around. Then I would have Noah say; “Long time no see Peter! How are you?” then I would have him just shake his head. “I got shot and I didn't die.” (Just as a family call back) Then I would have him explain what happened. Then I would have Angela sigh then I would have her tell him; “I think I know what's going on Peter.” then they would both look at her with confusion and she would look at the pair of them as if they had dribbled on their shirts. “Come now, it's obvious! Your old powers are coming back!”

“All of them?” I would have Noah ask worriedly.

“Appears so!” Or something of that effect. Then I would have Peter say “That's brilliant!” then leave to tell Grey then I would have Noah look concerned and say “That's not what I meant.”

Then I would have Peter drive up to his flat. Have a flash back when they first became truly friends, by having it take place sometime shortly after the carnival and have Peter sitting across the grave of his brother with Gabriel Gray next to him looking at the grave too. Then I would have Gabriel say something like “I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I am sorry.” then I would have Peter say “No, you don't.” I would then have Peter and Gabriel lay down flowers. Then I would have him look at the grave stone.

“I swear that I will make it up to you.” I would have him say, or something of that effect. Then I would have them walk away from the grave to see a man running with a purse with an old woman then I would have them use their powers to take the burglar down and then I would have Peter give the purse back to the old woman.

Then I would end the flash back with Peter pulling up to his flat. He would knock hearing nothing then I would have him knock again and hen again an on the final time I would have him then go in knowing that something is wrong. Then I would have him look around seeing that nobody's home I would have him look at the clock which is smashed at eleven o'clock. Then I would have him look around I would have him skim over the painting of him exploding and then I would have him call the others to tell them that Gabriel is missing.

Then I would have him drive off to look for him mean while I would give a flashback that will give them the reason that they started to wear the balaclavas and I would establish that there are Sylar copycats. Then I would end the episode with a paper with the the headline; Sylar Returns! Subheading; Or is it one of his many copycats? With a photo of Matt Parkman dead, with his head cut open from the forehead!

Then next five episodes I would have Peter and the others to look for Gabriel Gray and I would have him correct the others sometimes for calling him Sylar, saying that the Sylar side of him is dead and I would show flashbacks to prove it. I would even show flashbacks that would give the audience the experience of seeing their brotherly bond develop until Peter was truly ready to forgive him. Then with each episode I would have a clock counting down when it is of the clock until episode six.

I would have the episode at the end where Tommy walking in his school at night alone from a detention or something and then I would have him be flown against a clock and the clock will be frozen at six o'clock and he would stay there, like he is being held there by an invisible hand is keeping him there. Then I would have a man in the shadows come forward and point his finger across his head then the blood would fall. Then I would have Emily come out after going to the bathroom and then see what's going on then I would have her run up to the man and take him down with Tommy falling lying in a pool of his own blood. Then I would her see that this man is not Sylar but his father!

Then the next four episodes be all about finding Gray senior and clear Gabriel's name. Then I would have on the eleventh I would have Peter get a tip to where his father lives and I would have him drive to that place. Then I would have him knock on the door four times. Hearing nothing I would have him open the door then I would have a faint buzzing noise as he would look around for anyone but seeing another broken clock at one o'clock. That would be when I would have Peter go to leave only for the door to swing shut to reveal a seemingly resent corpse of Gabriel's father!

This would be when Peter would receive a call from Gabriel Gray. Then I would have him answer it. Then I would have him shout something like “Gabriel! What the Hell do you know how worried we've been!”

That would be when I would have him here Gabriel sob.

“I'm sorry! I-I-He kidnapped me months ago! He then read my mind to find out where the others were!” he would sob. “I couldn't take it any more! Then I-I-I killed him! My own father!”

Then I would have Peter calm him down and then ask him where they should meet. Then he would say the place where Peter almost exploded at the end of season one. Then I would have him drive to the place and then I would have him walk up to the place facing a quite calm Gabriel Gray, then I would have them transition to a painting, the painting that Sylar painted in season one!

Then at the start of the credits I would the reveal that the final episode would be called; How To Stop An Exploding Man?.

Now what do you think has happened or is going on? Well all will be answered in the final episode.

I would open it with Gabriel walking to where Matt has been hanging for a while, still laughing. That would be when he would look concerned.

“Matt! How did you get in this state?” I would have him ask. Then I would have him reply with a laugh.

“Why're you laughing?” I would have him ask.

“Oh, 'cause it's absurd!”

“What's absurd?” I would have him ask.

“'cause you never left!” I'd have Matt laugh. That would be when I would have Gabriel reach out his hand and pull for a moment then I would have the hand let go and his face change and smile, but this is not the smile or face of Gabriel Gray, but the smile of Sylar!

“Now I have!” I would have him say and then I would have his finger start to slide across the screen, with the Heroes title card to fill in the rest of the scene. Then I would have it go back to the present where Peter would come up to him all concerned.

“Gabriel are you alright?” I would have him ask.

“Perfect, now that you're here Peter.” I would have him say with a sinister tone. Then I would have him be taken back by that for a moment.

“What?” I would have him ask slightly confused.

“Do you not see? It's all about you. See I knew that you still had your old powers the moment that you got them back, but there seemed to be something in your head that stopped them coming out. Maybe it was what your father did but there seemed to be a grain in that clockwork in your mind. So, I thought that by fighting you that grain would dislodge but sadly I was disappointed and that almost costed me my body. Still, I knew while I was in the subconsciousness of Matt's mind I came to the realisation that I would have to come up with a different tactic. Then it came to me, that I would have to let things happen and wait until you used your older powers. Then came another question; how would I know when you would use your powers? That was when it came to me, I would have to get close to you, but then the question was; how? After all I knew that you would never become my friend not even if I paid you. Then I remembered that I knew someone who would. Gabriel Gray the version of me before my powers. In fact if I had met you back then then we would have been friends instantly. Now the question was how could I get you to meet him? This was simple after all, all I needed to do was make myself known and then put that version of me back into my body, but he had to have enough of me in him for suspicion to be averted but that would fade out over time. This part of my plan worked perfectly, then I found out, from your mother's mind that I, or Gabriel was going to save that girlfriend of yours. So when he came back I knew that I would have to manipulate the situation to get you and him to at least sow seeds of friendship. So I sent a thought to Matt's wife, one simple thought that had her demand poor Matt to get rid of him. So I was able to subconsciously manipulate Matt into sending Gabriel into a dream world where time is longer. Then I had him build a wall around him as I waited for you to arrive. Then, when you did, I was able to use Matt to send you to that place and that was when I set a wall up that could only come down if you started to reach out to him. Then everything went exactly as planed. It was my lucky day but what made that day even more golden was that I was able to see an opportunity to do something that I have always wanted to, destroy Noah Bennet. How did I do this? Simple, it was only one simple thought that had her climb up that ferris wheel and caused her to jump.”

This would be when I would have Peter turn and run. Then I would have Sylar shake his head.

“No.” then he would flick his finger towards him and Peter would be pulled back and Sylar would get close to him and say, “How many people are in those buildings?” Then he would stay there and become more submissive.

“Now as I was saying, when that happened everything went up hill for me. I was able to use my influence over Matt to get him to sell himself to the highest bidder and then I was easily able to manipulate Erica and her hate 'evos' like ourselves, in fact it was she who came up with the name, to stir up more hate for people like ourselves, more specifically people who don't believe in evolution. Then came another gold day, the day of when Mohinder was framed for that explosion, more opportunities came up like I was able to get Matt to be the head of a prison, which meant that I would be able to feast on more people like us the moment that you could use your old powers again. Then when this did happen you would set off an alarm in poor Gabriel Gray's head and sent him to his death.”

Then I would have Peter ask “And why did you do this now?”

“Because, so many opportunities came from that explosion. Which led me to a question; what would happen if there was another? I wonder how many opportunities would open up then? And now that all but one of your powers have returned I was thinking that that power will show itself and you know the one and oh look! It's come!”

Then I would let the camera drop to Peter's hand which is glowing and his bones were faintly showing (Ted's power). Then I would have Sylar smile. That would be when I would have Peter call Hiro but his phone is turned off, then he would call Claire who's phone is also turned off which I would pan out revealing that Hiro, Claire, Angela and everyone else from Reborn at Tommy''s funeral. Then I would have Hiro go back in time to save his adopted son, but he would arrive too late, and that would be when “Sylar's father” would run into him to shape-shift back into Sylar! He would then smirk and then he would look at him and say “I will spare you if you deliver this message to the cheerleader” then I would have him lean in close and whisper something in his ear and pull back then send him into the future.

I would then cut back to Peter who is panicking and his state is getting worse knowing that he can't get into contact with them.

“Oh, that's useless, did you not know? Theyre all at a funeral, your grate nephews' to be precise.” I would have Sylar explain. “And don't think that Mohinder can help, his hands are quite full at the moment.”

Then I would cut to Mohinder working as a doctor with a patient to reveal that the patient is Noah but he has wounds that only Mohinder can deal with. Then I would cut back to Peter who up on realising that there is nobody coming forces himself calming down. That would be when something hit the ground with a crack. That would be when I would reveal that it is a woman that is dead. I would have him look back to Sylar who would smile and shrug. Then more and more people would drop causing Peter to go back into his panic attack as Sylar would start using his powers to torture him to get him even more worked up and then I would have Peter turn away to fly off and then I would pan back for Peter to reveal Nathan Petrelli.

“Peter, you saved the cheerleader so that we could save the world.” I would have him say as he would walk up to him and wrap his arms around him. “Or at least that's what I would have said if I was still alive.” Then I would have him pull away to see Sylar smiling.

Then this would be when Peter would explode!

Then when they are berrying the Tommy I would have them see the explosion on the horizon. I would have Milina turn to her mother and ask “What's that?”

“I thought that we stopped it!” I would have Claire say.

Then I would cut to Noah and Mohider look at the horizon with dread.

That would be when the episode will end saying end of volume, it is your choice to see the next volume. Then the theme would play out along side clockwork to indicate that Sylar will be the main benefactor from here out.
